Cost-effective Multipoint Conferencing and Streaming Network Appliance for IP Networks
The VCB combines traditional multipoint videoconferencing, streaming and scheduling into a single, affordable solution. Both scheduled and ad-hoc conferences are supported for a network of H.323 endpoints and SIP endpoints. The VCB includes management, as well as basic features such as continuous presence and rich, intelligent conference layouts (up to 16 participants at a time). Additionally, the VCB includes all the latest audio, video, and data algorithms, ensuring that calls involving standards-based videoconferencing endpoints will connect and operate smoothly. The VCB is shipped as an integrated solution in a rack- mount appliance, scalable from 12 to 48 port.

Conference Streaming
This unique feature allows live streaming of a point-to-point conference or a multipoint conference while hundreds or thousands of other users can watch the stream through a simple viewer application. This feature can be remotely turned on and off by the session moderator before or during a call and works for either voice-switched or continuous presence conferences.

Using Emblaze-VCON’s free-of-charge Broadcast Viewer, anyone on the network can see what sessions are being broadcast and can view the appropriate one. Now bundled with a low-cost MCU, organizations can stream training sessions, corporate broadcasts, important video meetings and more to all, or select employees.

Web-Based Manager and Moderator
The web-based VCB Manager contains web-based scheduling, status monitoring, configuration and conference moderation capabilities. Point-to-point, multipoint, and recurring conferences can be scheduled. The scheduling function gives users many options while creating an event, allowing them to personalize it, including time zone conversion, automatic redial option and more. During conferences, managers have several chair control options, and can change display layouts as they see fit. Additional conference moderation capabilities include web data conferencing with Emblaze-VCON’s WebShare, adding/removing participants, and starting/stopping multicast of the conference. Administrators can also set up call services which are used to connect multipoint calls. The Manager interface is intuitive, user-friendly and can be viewed in several different languages.
