RADVISION’s SCOPIA platforms are the industry’s leading open chassis visual communications infrastructure solutions for medium to large-scale video networks. Easy to use plug and play functionality minimizes initial setup time, and offers unmatched flexibility.

High Definition (HD) as a standard on every blade, enabling high definition video at 720p H.264 at 30 frames per second with perfect quality.

SCOPIA platforms are available in one of two chassis sizes. All SCOPIA blades are interchangeable between the chassis types.

For conferencing, the SCOPIA MCU delivers consistent user capacity and superior video quality, with full audio and video processing capabilities for all users.

SCOPIA 400/1000 Components

*MCU Blade
High Definition Multipoint Conferencing Unit (MCU) with built in H.323 and SIP support. Supports 96 audio conferencing ports with full audio transcoding. Used with up to four Media Video Processing blades for HD video support.

*MVP Blade (for conferencing)
A Media Video Processing (MVP) blade enabling 24 high definition video processed conferencing ports of up to 2Mbps each.

*MVP/M Blade (for the 3G Video Gateway)
Supports transcoding of MPEG4 (3G-324M)<>H.263 (IP) and MPEG4 (IP)<> H.263 (3G-324M)

*GW-P20 Blade
A dual PRI gateway connecting H.320 ISDN networks to H.323 IP networks. Built-in audio transcoding is included.

*GW-S40 Blade
A quad port serial gateway connecting H.320 serial networks to H.323 IP networks. Built-in audio transcoding is included.

*GW-P25/M Blade
A 3G video gateway connecting H.324M networks to IP networks (see SCOPIA 3G Gateway datasheet for more details).

*MSP Blade
A Media Streaming Proxy - provides seamless connectivity between RTSP streaming servers and Web cameras with 3G-324M enabled mobile devices.
