1 x AV Consultant Engineer
Direct Visual is a leading reseller and installer of Video and Voice over IP solutions, as well as a respected Audio Visual systems integrator. They continue to set the standard for uncompromising customer support and technical leadership. A position is available for an experienced Audio Visual systems engineer within the Sales Engineering Team, in a consultative role, providing support to the Sales Team in complex integration projects, as well as professional services such as design and consultancy directly to clients.

This position will be part of the team based in West Yorkshire.

SUMMARY:
Achieve maximum sales profitability and growth by supporting the sales process with Audio Visual product expertise, system design, implementation and support. The role will allow for product research, and the development of relationships with key Audio Visual manufacturers and suppliers.

The successful candidate will:

*Be enthusiastic about technology
*Assist sales staff by educating the customer in Audio Visual technologies, products and services.
*Participate in AV solution design
*Participate in AV implementations
*Assist Installation engineers with support on clients installations
*Prepare and deliver customer presentations, and product demonstrations.
*Keep abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services.
*Participate in trade shows and conventions.
*Maintain customer and partner relationships to ensure satisfaction and continually strive to improve those relationships.

Qualifications – Infocomm CTS is desirable. The candidate must show an excellent understanding of Audio, Control Systems, Matrix Switching and Video Signal transmission / conversion.

Salary will be commensurate to the candidates experience.
